At the Mite level this year, we will have one Red team, two White teams, and one Blue team in Clinton this season.  As an organization, Clinton Youth Hockey follows the suggested USA Hockey ADM (American Development Model) as a tool/guide for structure and player development at every level, from Learn to Skate/Learn to Play up through Midgets. Our goal, as coaches, is to place each player at a level where they stand the best possible chance to have success now, while challenging them and pushing them at the same time.  Our volunteer coaches have carefully evaluated each player's ability on-ice over the past three weeks and, based on relative age and ability as determining factors, have made these initial assignments.  We will continue to monitor all player development and make any additional amendments to these rosters accordingly throughout the course of the season. Your team's head coach will be in touch with you shortly regarding volunteers to serve as team managers and other team-specific logistics moving forward. If you have any questions whatsoever, please see the CYH Mite Coordinator Mike Fitzgerald or email Mike at mitecoordinator@clintonhockey.org
Thanks in advance and here's to a great Mite hockey season!
Best,
Mike Fitzgerald, Mite Level Coordinator
