Clinton Youth Hockey Board Meeting

The Clinton Youth Hockey Annual Meeting is scheduled for

Tuesday April 8th 7:30pm at Alteris

a.       This is an important meeting where we recap the 2013 – 2014 season and start preparations for the 2014 – 2015 campaign, all board meetings are open to the public

Silver Stick Regional Champions!

Hamilton College and Utica College have teamed up with the Shawn Grady Fund for the 2nd installment of it's Gold Ribbon Game

On Friday, Dec. 6th, local rivals Utica College and Hamilton College women’s hockey teams will join forces to raise awareness for childhood cancer. The teams will “go gold” as they face off for the Pioneers’ annual childhood cancer awareness game, held at the Clinton Ice Arena. Both teams will wear collector's edition white, blue, and gold jerseys as they face off in a cross-town match up (7 p.m.). All proceeds from the event will be donated to help ease the medical costs of a local family that is currently dealing with the disease.
Come watch Clinton Youth Hockey Alumni Caitlyn Moccaldi and Mackenzie Roy as their Pioneers take on the Continentals.

Clinton Youth Hockey will be hosting an end of season Central New York Squirt Invitational Tournament on March 7th-9th, 2014 at the Clinton Arena.

Colgate University Skate with the Raiders

Colgate University is hosting a Skate with the Raiders event on Sunday September 29th. The event will take place from 5:30PM-6:30PM at Starr Rink on Colgate University's campus. The event will begin immediately following the women's ice hockey game at 3:00PM. We would like to invite kids of all ages to come on out and participate! They will get free pizza, autographs, to skate with women's and men's student athletes, to skate with Raider, and the event is completely free to the public!

CYH practices will start Friday September 20th. All players must be registered before stepping on the ice.

Learn to Skate/LTP will begin November 2nd –March 2nd.  It will be Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings.  Any questions call Rob Seymour (315) 982-0287.

·  Rob Seymour - CYH Board Member, former CCS standout defenseman, won NYS Championship as a player, played college hockey at MVCC, former MVCC Head Coach (6 years), 2+ years as CYH coach

·  Dan Melie - Clinton native, 10+ years as CYH coach

 

Mite Coaches:  Coordinator John Majka

·  John Majka - CYH President and Board Member, former CCS Assistant Coach, won 4 NYS Championships (2 as a coach, 2 as a player), played college hockey at Geneseo State University, 10+ years as CYH coach.

·  Brian Grady - CYH Board Member, Utica College Assistant Coach, former Morrisville State College Head Coach (5 years), Hamilton College Assistant Coach (1 year), University of Maine Assistant Coach (2 years), played college hockey at Hamilton College, 2+ years as CYH coach

·  Greg Williams - Clinton native, former CCS standout defenseman, 3+ years as CYH coach

·  Stacy Davignon - CYH Board Member, Clinton native, played college hockey at University of New Hampshire and Hamilton College, 8+ years as CYH coach

·  Jon Davignon - Played college hockey at the Coast Guard Academy, former Connecticut College Assistant Coach (2 years), former Cazenovia High School Head Coach (7 years), won NYS Championship as a coach

·  Rob Seymour - CYH Board Member, former CCS standout defenseman, won NYS Championship as a player, played college hockey at MVCC, former MVCC Head Coach (6 years), 2+ years as CYH coach

·  Dave Barret- Clinton Native, Former Board President, 15+ years as CYH coach

WILLIAM J. HAMELINE JR. 1927-2014

CYH MOURNS THE LOSS OF PAST PRESIDENT AND LIFELONG SUPPORTER OF CLINTON HOCKEY A lifelong hockey player and fan, he was a Director of the Clinton Rink Association and a member of the Clinton Youth Hockey Association for over 30 years, where he served as a coach, referee, and several terms as President. He was also the founding President of the Central New York Iroquois League.
