Annual Mite Night

Mark your calendars:
Clinton Youth Hockey’s annual Mite Night will be held Mar. 25 from 4:00pm to 6:30pm at the Clinton Arena.

For those new to CCYHA, Mite Night is the Clinton Youth Hockey tradition of celebrating our youngest players. Each Mite player will have their name announced as they step onto the ice, Clinton varsity hockey players make an appearance, then games or skills competitions follow. This event is primarily meant to be a fun send off for the older mite players who will be moving up to the Squirt level next season.

We are looking for goodie bag donations (bags, Gatorade, candy, hockey tape, etc.). There are 31 Mites this season, so please make sure donated items match that quantity to ensure everyone receives the same items in their goodie bags.

Please email Courtney Peck (beasock.courtney@gmail.com) regarding donations, volunteer opportunities, or questions.

Thank You Coach Melie!

We are saddened by the news to hear the passing of Dan Melie. Dan has committed a tremendous amount of time and passion to the Clinton Youth Hockey Organization. Heading the Learn to Play Program, a player’s love for Hockey started with Dan. Even when Dan was no longer a players coach, he’d go out of his way to give a player a few tips or just a simple hello. Dan’s father knew how much joy teaching Clinton’s youth meant to him. Dan’s family, in his Father’s honor started the Dan Melie fund. This fund ensures any player who wants to play hockey has the ability to do so. Dan’s legacy will live on through all he has taught his players and has given to our organization. Thank you for all you have done Coach. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this difficult time.
